Overview

The 4 star Norwood Hall Hotel is a fantastic countryside wedding venue in a central location. Just 3.3 miles from Aberdeen city centre and sitting on the banks of the River Dee, this 19th century estate is surrounded by 7 acres of secluded gardens and private woodland with a tree-lined driveway.

Facilities 

The main function suite is the stunning Ballroom with floor to ceiling windows, a new marble bar, a private drinks area and a large dance floor lit up by a magnificent chandelier. The ceremony and dining capacity of this suite is 180 guests with an evening capacity of 220 guests.
For a more intimate gathering the Library is perfect for small ceremonies of up to 20 guests and features patio doors leading into the gardens, large bay window and ornate oak panelling.

Services

The venue operates by only booking one wedding each day so no other weddings will take place at this venue on the day of your wedding. Exclusive use weddings are available at a fee where you, your wedding guests will be the only guests on the grounds on your wedding day. The venue is licensed for fireworks displays which can wow your guests in the evening, bringing an extra special touch of magic to your celebrations. An experienced wedding coordinator will be at hand to assist with wedding preparations and offer advice from the moment you book your wedding.
The restaurant at the hotel is proud to serve only Scottish reared beef and lamb, regionally sourced British pork and free-range chicken. Wild fish is caught in UK waters from sustainable sources and only the finest organic fruits and vegetables are used in the mouth-watering dishes created by the in-house chefs.
