The Craigie Hotel is a stunning Edwardian house, 7 miles south of Edinburgh, at the foot of the Pentland Hills.

Recently renovated to the highest standard, The Craigie Hotel has been designed to offer all the modern and stylish facilities you will need for your big day, yet in the tranquil, leafy surroundings of a classic Scottish country hotel.

It was once the home of a Professor of Natural History from Edinburgh University, famous for his pioneering genetic work with zebras, which once roamed free here.

The beautiful property boasts 16 elegant bedrooms, a stylish restaurant and bar, and two superb event facilities.

The main function suite is a fabulous setting for your entire day, including your ceremony. Our spacious room can accommodate up to 80 guests comfortably in theatre style seating. The room can be dressed to suit your personal style, with crisp white chair covers, your choice of complimentary taffeta chair bows & a stunning red carpet aisle.
After your nuptials, you and your guests can retire to our leafy garden & drinks in our gin pod before returning to the main hall for your wedding breakfast. There are plenty of picture perfect local beauty spots for memorable photos, or you are welcome to use our grounds while your guests mingle and enjoy your special day.

We offer different packages to suit your style and budget, and should you wish for any special touches or additions to make your day even more unique, we are happy to accommodate wherever possible.
