Located at the foot of the magnificent Ochil Hills, north east of Stirling, this baronial castle was originally built in 1874 in the style of Balmoral Castle. The castle was transformed into a hotel with function rooms in 2003 and the staff pride themselves on offering wedding services tailored uniquely to each couple.
The castle can accomodate 100 guests in the main hall for dining and 150 for the reception, smaller suites are available to suit smaller, intimate weddings.
Broomhall castle do things a little differently so instead of producing set menus for the wedding meal, the staff take the time to listen to each wedding couple’s personal requirements by inviting them to the castle to meet the chefs and discuss tastes and preferences for the wedding meal. The chefs create a list of delicious dishes for selection and the wedding couple have the added luxury of selecting 3 different options per course for the wedding guests to choose from.
Ceremony hire costs £250 and the castle can seat up to 100 people and exclusive use of the venue for the day costs £1250. Although the venue does not offer any wedding packages as a way to make each wedding day as individual to each wedding couple as possible, the Broomhall Castle website features a wedding invoice generator tool which can be downloaded directly from the site to help wedding couple’s calculate what it might cost to have their wedding day at Broomhall castle before they come visit.
