Sharon’s Story

After working as a pastry chef for 15 years in top hotels like Gleneagles and The Balmoral in Scotland, I decided that it was time for me to start up my own little cake business, so I took the plunge and opened up a little café & cake shop selling my lovely cakes & sweet treats to the public in Camelon, Falkirk. And beyond…

My business has gone from strength to strength over the years and I have achieved more than I ever dreamt possible. As my business grows, so do my ambitions, and I’d love you to be part of my journey.

I have been nominated as a finalist in the Scottish wedding awards for the last 3 years and a finalist for 2023 in the confetti wedding awards.

I have received a certificate of excellence from restaurant guru in central Scotland.

I have been nominated in the Three best Rated Businesses for the last six years running.

I specialise in wedding cakes.

I have received 1 bronze award at the sugar craft guild in Scotland in 2017.

I received 2 Bronze Awards at Cake international in 2017.

In 2018, I was awarded 2 Silver Awards in the Sculpted Cake categories & a Bronze Award in the Small Decorative Exhibit category.

In 2019, I’ve been awarded a Silver Award in the Celebration Cake category and a Certificate of Merit in the Floral Cake Exhibit at ScotHot competition at SECC, Glasgow.

In 2020 I was awarded 2 Merit Awards in the Wedding Cake category.

In 2021 I was awarded 1 Bronze Award in the Wedding Cake category.

In 2022 I was awarded 2 Bronze Awards in the Wedding Cake category, and 1 merit award in the miniature decorative exhibit.
