Overview

Opened in 1998, this family owned restaurant and wedding venue lies on the shores of Loch Lomond offering spectacular views of the loch and the mountain munro Ben Lomond. The venue is situated in the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park at the southern end of the Loch and although it can be found on the outskirts of Glasgow, the peaceful natural surroundings give a feel of being a million miles away from the city.

Facilities 

• The McIntyre Suite inside The Cruin can accommodate 120 day guests, 200 evening guests in total and there is a minimum number of 50 guests for all weddings.
• Ceremonies can take place outdoors on the Lochside Terrace or in the Cruin Ceremony Suite with the backdrop of panoramic views across the Loch to Ben Lomond.
• The Cruin has a late license until 1am and is an exclusive venue which means no other events or weddings will be held on the same day as your wedding and the cost for exclusive use of the venue is £600.

Services

The Cruin has several wedding packages to offer including great all inclusive package deals, each package is seen to by a dedicated wedding team and complimentary bridal lodge accommodation for the happy couple on their wedding night is included in the packages. Ceremony hire and exclusive venue hire costs £600 each when booking as part of a wedding package although the all-inclusive packages offer half price wedding ceremony and venue hire. Standard wedding packages include extras such as a drinks package, red carpet on arrival and wedding stationary and all-inclusive packages include this plus evening buffet, candelabra centrepieces for each wedding table and external fairy lights.

Accommodation

The 11 self catering lodges and guesthouse on site are privately owned but are available for bookings and can be contacted directly via the Cruin’s online site.
