Overview

Having worked in hospitality my whole life, I have hosted many events and private parties but I really found my passion when I planned my own wedding in 2015. I loved the freedom to be creative on a larger scale. And so, Edge events was formed.

Based in Mallaig, I cover most of the Highlands and islands of Scotland.

Here in Scotland, you can get married pretty much anywhere and I feel the quirkier the better!

I feel a wedding should be a reflection of the couples themselves and should never be a “one style suits all” kind of deal.

Being lucky enough to have lived and worked here my whole life, I have a vast knowledge of the area and have built a good rapport with local suppliers and vendors as well as professionals further afield. I would only ever recommend the best in the business.

Recently voted the most beautiful country in the world by rough guides 2019, Scotland is THE best wedding destination. You may not be guaranteed sunshine but you really don’t choose a Scottish wedding for the weather!

We have the most outstanding natural beauty and my venues include beaches, mountains, castle ruins, a distillery and a boat…just to mention a few. I have shortlisted the best exclusive use houses, hotels and halls as well as venues to pitch marquees, a tipi or sperry tent.
