A family run hotel on the outskirts of Glasgow and just 15 minutes from the banks of Loch Lomond. Built in 1798, this charming country house hotel lies beneath the grand Dumbuck Hill surrounded by greenery in a relaxed, tranquil setting.

Facilities 

The Castle Suite within the Dumbuck is the ideal venue for celebrating such a special day and is licensed for civil ceremonies with a capacity of 120 guests, holding up to 180 guests for the evening wedding reception. The hotel has a separate bar area for use as a drinks reception on arrival and in the hotter months, the private courtyard is perfect for socialising in the sun whilst photography is taking place.

Services

Wedding packages at the dumbuck include the expertise of the in-house wedding coordinator who can assist with every aspect of your wedding day wishes. Catering is handled by the award winning head chef and his team who have carefully selected fresh, seasonal locally sourced ingredients to produce a choice of tantalizing wedding menu packages.

The Dumbuck offers midweek packages which are available Sunday – Thursday and winter wedding packages which are available October – March as well as offering small, intimate wedding packages for up to 30 dining guests with a large evening party of up to 180 guests, available Sunday – Friday. Ceremony room hire is £250 and Wedding Breakfast room hire is £350 when booking a wedding package although Mid-Week and Winter Wedding packages are inclusive of room hire for the ceremony during the day and reception in the evening.

Accommodation

The hotel has 19 luxury bedrooms and suites featuring both traditional and modern furnishings, wedding guests receive a discounted room price which works out at around a 20% discount. The hotel has a luxury honeymoon suite, The Thompson suite, and is complimentary in all wedding packages.
