Victorian mansion nestled within 55 acres of ground offering a country retreat a few miles from the city centre. Originally built in 1840, Norton House Hotel was restored and extended in 2012 showcasing a tasteful blend of classic historical features with stylish contemporary updates. Owned at one time by Richard Branson, it’s hard to believe you are only 2 miles from Edinburgh airport as you pass the original stone gatehouse and make your way along the tree-lined drive to the house where you are surrounded by landscaped gardens and farmland.
Norton House has 3 wedding suites which can accommodate any part of your wedding day whether it be the ceremony, wedding meal, reception or all three and has one other smaller suite,The Patio, to accommodate small wedding ceremonies and dinners for up to 30 guests.
The Garden Suite is a stunning contemporary setting with floor to ceiling windows along one side of the room offering beautiful views of the gardens and holds up to 130 day guests and a total of 160 guests in the evening. You and your wedding guests can also benefit from a private terrace and private bar.
The Ballroom is the largest suite, accommodating up to 140 day guests and up to 200 guests in the evening, and is traditionally styled with high ceilings and brass chandeliers with a private bar for you and your wedding guests.
Norton House Hotel offers a variety of wedding packages to suit each wedding couple depending the time of year the wedding will take place. The menu selection is updated seasonally and has many different options for each course of a wedding meal, the list of dish options is primarily an example of the variety of dishes that can be made as the catering staff are happy to tailor make a wedding menu that suits you and your guests.

The hotel has 83 bedrooms with some in the main house and others in the west wing, the rooms in the main house offer traditional styles with rich period features and panoramic views whilst the west wing rooms offer contrasting yet luxurious, contemporary styled furnishings. The best suite in the hotel is the Kingdom suite which offers views over the Kingdom of Fife looking out from the panoramic floor to ceiling windows and large private balcony, also comes with a separate living and dining room area.
